PHARMACIA

Pharmacia/'SPELLS'/potions mentiioned in Scripture, and in particular relation to the days we are living in. When drugs are used to "control" others in various ways, they fall under the category of Sorcery. I know this may sound strange but think "witch's potions".

The actual wordage is as follows: From the GREEK:

WORD #5331 - pharmakeia stems from word #5332 pharmacy, medication; also, magic, sorcery, witchcraft

We know that this sort of stuff is true because Truth Serum, as one example, is an actual substance used in warfare, militaries, therapists, etc.

And who hasn't heard or read a newstory/police report of "Roofies" being used against someone who had no memory of it? Same thing.

Additionally, there is the readily acknowledged hynosis, which is in itself a form of altered consciousness which is mentioned on that page.

This is backed up in Scripture in something that I mention fairly frequently, II Timothy 3:1-9.

WORD #5332 - pharmakeus - from pharmakon (a drug, SPELL-GIVING potion); a druggist (pharmacist) or poisoner; magician, sorcerer

WORD #5333 - pharmakos - the same as 5332, sorcerer

Additionally, this is mentioned in Revelation 18:23 as a sign of the last days. It is wicked.
