TRUE STORY
(discussing how to handle something): Friend: Well, doesn't The Bible say that you're supposed
to be mean as a snake & sly as fox?" Me: "Uummm, do you mean "shrewd as a serpent &
innocent as a lamb?" lol (Matthew 10:16)
After biding my time for several weeks & waiting for just the right moment to bring up spirituality to a lady, I
finally mentioned The Bible - casually, in the course of everyday conversation. "Yes, yes," she said exasperately, "I
know all about The Bible - I know about the palms [The Psalms] and all that."
